It’s always great to gain recognition for our products so we were absolutely delighted to be Commended for our Fully Loaded Jackets with Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese at the Free From Food Awards in London last week.

We found out earlier this year that we’d been shortlisted in the Veggie Ready Meals category, which in itself was an honour having been chosen from over 500 products entered. Although we didn’t take away the top award, we were thrilled that our gluten-free product was one of only three products commended by the judges in our category.

The Free From Food Awards is the UKs only industry awards for freefrom food and celebrates excellence in the freefrom food industry. Judges range from freefrom food professionals, writers, bloggers and those who suffer from food allergies.

Our entire Bannisters’ Farm range of products is gluten-free so it was great to be commended, particularly during Allergy Awareness Week!

It was great to see a strong local contingent at the awards with Yorkshire Provender, Jollyum, Voakes Free From and Big Fish Brand (from neighbouring Lincolnshire) all on the shortlist for categories ranging from ‘Confectionary and Chocolate’ to ‘Breakfast Foods’ and ‘Pizza and Pasta’.
