Try gluten-free products from Bannisters Farm
This week is Coeliac Awareness Week (12-18 May 2014). Organised by Coeliac UK, this year’s event focusses on the availability of gluten-free food in our supermarkets. So we thought this was an ideal time to let you know that all of the products in our Bannisters’ Farm range are gluten-free.
As well as the obvious ones like our Ready Baked Potatoes and Littl’uns Small Baked Potatoes, our Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes also contain no gluten. Not perhaps a product that you’d expect to contain gluten, but we’ve noticed that so many other roast potatoes available in supermarkets contain gluten, and even sometimes dairy products, in a coating. Strange eh? We agree, so with our Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes, there is no coating and no gluten – we make them just as you would do at home. No nasties. Just a perfect cheat for those with too little time to make them from scratch.
You might be even more surprised to find that our full range of Fully Loaded Jacket Potatoes are also completely gluten-free. They’re available with a choice of five delicious fillings: Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese; Cheese and Beans; Chicken and Mushroom; Chicken Tikka and Mature Cheddar Cheese. These are perfect for the working lunch or simply a moment when it’s necessary to down tools and eat: this is good wholesome food when you want it fast.
Our Baked and Filled Potato Skins make an excellent snack or meal accompaniment and they’re completely gluten-free. They’re available in three scrumptious flavours: Cheese and Smokey Bacon; Cheese and Roasted Onion and Cheese and Jalapeno. You could share them with friends while watching the match or even serve them as an alternative for the local Cricket Club teas!
Our mouth-wateringly good Potato Crush – a delicious crush of spuds, herbs and onions – are also gluten-free and a perfect meal accompaniment.
Not to mention our Potato Halves, baked and filled with Mature Cheddar Cheese and Roasted Pepper and Mozzerella.
You will find our products in the frozen aisle of these stores and if you can’t find what you’re looking for in your local supermarket, you can email us, with your postcode, at thefarmer@bannistersfarm.co.uk for your nearest stockist. If you’re a caterer looking to stock our products, we do catering packs too – you can contact us via our Where to Buy to find out where you can get hold of them.
