Which is why we, at Bannisters’ Farm, are proud to present to you our very latest product, our Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes.
Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they’re just like you’d make them yourself, with one big difference… we’ve left the skins on!
And what led us to such a controversial move, we hear you ask. Well, as farmers, we know more than most how much work goes into growing a spud. It takes time and lots of love, care, attention and worry. So, quite frankly, we don’t want to waste a single bit of it. And besides that, we all know that the skin is the most nutritious bit!
So next time you’re planning a roast dinner, why not let us help? Okay, so we can’t actually come to your house and peel your carrots but we have prepared your roasties: we’ve done everything up to the bit where you put them in the oven; we’ve even already tossed them in rapeseed oil and perfectly seasoned them, then frozen them until you’re ready to finish them off in your oven at home.
And as if that wasn’t enough, unlike some other frozen roast potatoes that you might find in your supermarket freezer cabinet, our roast spuds haven’t been fried or battered before they were frozen and they contain absolutely no gluten whatsoever.
