With summer 2014 in full swing, what better time to share with you our latest video, shot throughout last year’s glorious summer on Bannisters’ Farm.

Summer is such an exciting time on the farm, it’s when we see the results of months of hard work come to fruition and, of course, it marks the beginning of even more intensive work as we prepare to harvest the beans, wheat, barley, borage and potatoes that we have seen grow from seed.

Summer is also a time when the farm is teeming with life and colour, from the bees brought in to pollenate the borage, the butterflies, hares and occasional roe deer (if you’re lucky enough to spot one), to the wild flowers growing in the dale.
