With Halloween around the corner and the grandchildren already happily playing in their witches outfits and carrying around wands and broomsticks, it seemed quite fitting to see that the fields are also decorated in the theme of the month.

Walking around the farm with Hilary at the weekend we noticed that the hedgerows and field margins were just covered in millions of cobwebs.

Our concern is, with this many spiders, how many flies are expected?!
