Simplifying Easter Sunday for foodservice customers
Aside from Christmas Dinner, a good wholesome roast on Easter Sunday has to be one of the highlights of the culinary calendar and therefore one of the busiest days of the year for pubs and restaurants.
Even when you’re cooking for small numbers, pulling together all the elements of a traditional roast dinner can be a challenge – the meat, roast potatoes, veg, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing… but if you’re catering for a restaurant or pub full of hungry diners, it’s like a military operation.
At Bannisters’ Farm, we’ve been making life easier for our foodservice customers for over 30 years. Not only do our frozen potato products taste great, they’re quick and easy to prepare, and they can help reduce wastage because you only prepare as much as you need.
For example, our Chef’s Classic Roasting Potatoes, crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, make perfect roasts every time. They’re not fried or battered but just as you’d make them at home – par-boiled, tossed in rapeseed oil, seasoned, roasted then frozen until you need them. In fact, all you have to do is pop them in the oven.
Our Chef’s Classics are also gluten-free, great for those customers have gluten-intolerance or for the increasing number of people who are avoiding gluten as a lifestyle choice.
You can find out more about our time-saving foodservice products, including mashed potato, colcannon, bubble and squeak, and carrot and swede mash on our Catering products page.
