Record amount raised for Ryedale Special Families
We’re absolutely delighted to report that this year’s Yorkshire Wolds Cycle Challenge has raised a record amount of £27,000 for local charity Ryedale Special Families!
The two-day cycling event took place in mid-July, covering 144 miles of stunning Yorkshire Wolds countryside. 163 riders took part in the challenge, which is now in its sixth year, raising the record total for the charity which offers care and support to families of children and young people who have special needs, disabilities or illness.
We’ve been sponsoring the event for four years alongside other local businesses, including Wold Top Brewery, Inntravel and Big Bear Bikes, so we’re especially pleased to see it go from strength to strength raising much needed funds for such a worthwhile cause.
A big congratulations from the whole team at Bannisters’ Farm to everyone who took part!
