When we launched our Farmer’s Roasting Potatoes last October, we were really excited to be continuing the Bannisters’ Farm tradition of bringing something a bit different to the freezer aisles.

You see, our roasts aren’t like your average supermarket roasts. They haven’t been battered or fried and they’re gluten free. But what makes our roasts really special is that we’ve left the skin on for added taste and nutrition.

As farmers, we know more than most how much work goes into growing a spud. It takes time and lots of love, care, attention and worry. So we didn’t want to waste a single bit of it, particularly when it’s the most nutritious bit!

We know our roasts are delicious because we eat them ourselves, and we also know that you love them because you’ve told us so in your emails, tweets, posts and letters. So we’re absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for The Grocer New Product Awards in the category of Meal Accompaniment.

The winners will be announced at the end of September, wish us luck!
