Enjoy local food and drink in and around East Yorkshire
If you’re a regular reader of our blog you’ll know how passionate we are about the quality of food and drink produced in our local area.
Up here on our farm at the top of the Yorkshire Wolds, we’re practically a stone’s throw away from a whole host of lovely East Yorkshire brands including: Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, Wold Top Brewery, Raisthorpe Manor Fine Foods, Three Little Pigs, Staal Smokehouse, Side Oven Bakery, St Quintin’s Creamery, Elliott Eggs and Yorkshire Wagyu Company.
Aside from our geography and the quality of our produce, there’s one other thing we share in common with these other brands and that’s our membership of the East Yorkshire Local Food Network (EYLFN), an organisation set up to champion locally produced food and drink.
The EYLFN has recently launched this year’s local food and drink guide. As well as signposting local producers, the guide also lists the best places to buy local produce as well as great places to stay if you’re coming from outside the area.
So if you’re into your food and drink, you can download a copy of this guide from the EYLFN website and get more information on East Yorkshire and its wonderful foodie heritage!
