Last Thursday we held our annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It really is one of our favourite events of the year. Eating cake and raising money for an amazing cause, what’s not to love?

As usual, the Bannisters Farm team did themselves proud by baking up a magnificent selection of goodies – after all, we’re well-practised in the art of baking here at BF HQ, although admittedly not of the sweet variety…

With the cake consumption continuing throughout the day and well into the night, we managed to raise £361.26 for the charity, which was matched by the Bannister family to make a total of £718.95!

The first Macmillan Coffee Morning happened almost 30 years ago, back in 1990 and has since raised over £200 million for Macmillan Cancer Support. We’re delighted to have been able to contribute to this total for such a worthwhile cause.
